HOORAY~ I have had a fab 5-day vacation (though in Singapore) and it was lotsa fun! ^^

Day 1 (25/2) - Job Hunting (Part 1) & Mary's sleepover

Mary and I went for a bit of job-hunting - but it didn't turned out fruitful. In the evening we went to Suntec City for some grocery shopping to prepare for the Sentosa trip the next day and upon leaving the mall, we randomly chanced upon Millenia Walk (don't ask us how we ended up there XD)! Boy, it's such a lovely place!

^ The interior of Millenia Walk. Very tall and tower-ly, eh?

We patronised I.P. Zone in Marina Square and guess what? I met Andy there! It felt real good to be able to talk to him again. Of course, Mary and I bought tees there; Mary got it for everyone-knows-who and I got it for Nic. <3

Headed over to Hougang K-Box (I wanted to see Nic and pass him the tee) and to my place (I needed to gather some stuff for the next couple of days) before finally going to Mary's house! Made sandwiches and watched Deathnote: The Last Note before we concluded the day!

Day 2 - Sentosa Trippie!

Here we are, Sentosa! While Mary and I were making pasta in the morning, KX, Pam and Denise apparently shopped around for snacks and drinks in... Toys' R Us?

^ A memento: We do have a childhood!

^ What's with the toys, man..

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 5
^ Bunny, bunny, come to me~

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 1
^ Oh wise tree, tell me who's the grumpiest of all? KX!

We took a monorail into Sentosa and then switched to a trailer heading for the beach! Took lame pictures on the way~

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 25
^ KX's face is as wide as a container cover! OMG~

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 24
^ Same goes like the toys: What's with the rocks, man?

Reached Palawan beach (supposed to be ulu) and I must say, it was really super high to be on one!

Started a picnic lunch under one of the shelters - on the menu there were cheese pasta, ham and Nutella choco sandwiches, chips, marshmellows, cup jelly and apple juice - yum!

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 21
^ I love the fooooood. Can't stop eating. XD

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 20
^ A "triangular" slice of pasta, as KX had put it. Tasted not bad, actually, 'cept it was a bit dry.

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 22
^ Say cheese! It was a cheesy meal, with cheese pasta and cheesy chips.

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 18
^ KX's obsession with plastic knifes and accidentally dropped food as well as dirt.

Got down to the waters and had tons of fun! Splashing, floating, swimming with fishes, collecting seaweed, rubbing disgusting mud on KX (including her boobs) so on and so forth - all proved to be fun and relaxing!

^ A group photo of the day. Seems like the tourist (I think) thought we wanna include the scenery in the shot as well. Yikes.

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 3
^ Pam's collection of seaweed. The seaweed was intended to be used as an ingredient to cook seaweed soup with mutton cubes (guess where's the mutton coming from? XD)

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 17 Sentosa Trippie - Photo 15
^ I had to emo with cheese chips and apple juice. Weird.

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 16
^ Denise was emo-ing with a marshmellow, however ironic.

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 14 Sentosa Trippie - Photo 12
^ Act, act, act! KX's very enthusiastic about emo-ing with a plastic knife and a wasted napkin. Wow~

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 13 Sentosa Trippie - Photo 11
^ Random pictures taken while KX is deciding on her emo pose.

Headed for the Dragon Trail after that! Ended up hiking through a forest, though. Bwah.

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 10
^ Near the trail and the Butterfly Kingdom, we discovered massive fruits crowded with ants. I wonder how ants feed on these clay figures?

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 9
^ KX was trying to provoke the sleeping dragon by sitting in its nostril - no grammar error intended; KX said that herself.

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 8
^ We are the lion queens!

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 7
^ Pamela and her creepy serpents' den. Scary~

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 43 Sentosa Trippie - Photo 42
^ Do my ancestors' fossils really look like this? Hmmm.

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 41
^ KX: "Let me seduce you till you're alive, draco fossils!"
Denise: "Crazy~"

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 44 Sentosa Trippie - Photo 40 Sentosa Trippie - Photo 39
^ Acclaimed falls without water. Ha.

Rode the Skyride to the entrance! Scary but wonderful ride, I would say!

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 36
^ Singapore's equivalent of snow sledges: Skyride!

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 38 Sentosa Trippie - Photo 34
^ See the height? Good thing my slippers didn't fall off. Phew.

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 35 Sentosa Trippie - Photo 32
^ Tiny figures are in fact Pam and Denise on another sledge. Say "hi", even if you are hidden by the pillar!

^ The magnificence of these views take my breath away, I swear.

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 29
^ This looks like a lovely island to live in. Owwww. <3

Sentosa Trippie - Photo 27 Sentosa Trippie - Photo 28
^ This weird-looking fish (sorry, Fabien) is Sentosa's mascot, apparently. It's definitely not cute, if you ask me.

It was evening when we left Sentosa. Had a short break at Vivo City's Toast Box and saw a performance by Shanxi kids before we went separate ways!

Goodbye Ruffles, it was nice knowing you. XD

Day 3 - K-Boxie (Part 1)!

Went K-Boxie with Mary today! I had to admit, we have had good stamina. *laughs*

K-Boxie - Mary and her Lambie!
^ Mary and her lamb onscreen. People, do you see now how obsessed Mary is with sheep? Even in K-Box she repeatedly sings songs related to sheep. Meeeeh~

Also witnessed an arrest of some gangster-looking guy from within our KTV room. Freaky freaky~

I saw Nic today (well, I was patronising the outlet he's working at) and I realised just how much I missed him. God.

Day 4 - Job Hunting (Part 2)!

Another round of job hunting (yes, Mary and I never give up). Turned out to be quite fruitful, though, unlike the last time. Mary got a series of ad hoc jobs waiting for her while I got a full-time job at some accessories shop located in Hougang Mall. Yay~

At the Padang
^ Passed by the Padang. Nice view! I liked the tall buildings~

Day 5 - K-Boxie (Part 2)!

One more round of singing! This time, it's Mary, Kai Ming and me. Had a lot of fun together! ^^

After which Ming and I strolled around my neighbourhood and chatted all sorts of crap - it had been some time since we last did that and it was really very relaxing and fulfilling!

Nic called after work - I asked him to, anyways - and for God-knows-why reason, I felt even more up-spirited! I like his voice, my precious dear~ <3

HOLIDAY. A wonderful day.
