I had a long and fun weekend~

Friday

Celebrated HH's Dad's b-day at his place! We bought a comforter (for drivers' use) as well as a window shade for him. Hopes he finds them useful! ^^

^ The foot you see above is HH's. Digusssssssting.

It was actually the first time I celebrated someone else's loved one's birthday (yeah, I can see that the 's is increasing). Apparently, I was the first outsider to receive the opportunity to celebrate birthdays with HH's family. Frankly speaking, it was a fun and mutual experience. ^^ At the same time, I was reminded of my own family - it had been, what, more than a few years since I last celebrated birthdays with them. They couldn't care less, I guess.

Saturday

Denise, Pam, HH and I went to Mary and KX's D&D in school! However, the D&D turned out to be a dining and jamming session... ...

^ The "thank you" sticks handmade by Mary and KX for their guests! Talk about falling stars~

^ Plain-looking programme was decorated by us 'cause we were bored. Hee. (for a closer look please continue below)

^ "I bet KX chose this." I agree too.

^ And yes, food again! I recall Pam and Denise were the first in line after they made the announcement for dinner. LOL.

^ I won something! Out of expectations, that is. I was saying to buy 4D if I happen to win before they called my ticket number. Talk about prediction.

^ It was actually a cup (from Ikea) with cartoons drawn on it (by KX, of course). When I got home and opened it, I realised that it was a cup topped with a paper bloom (boy, don't they love flowers) and filled with chocos. Not bad, actually (the chocos). XD

^ The shot was a bit too far, but if you looked closely, you'll see someone (Shuhui, ha) and her boyfriend enjoying in their own world for a moment. Yada yada ya~ XD

^ It appears when KX is cleaning up, she does it in an auntie way of only her own~

We helped out in cleaning and tidying up while the last performance was being played out. I don't know why, but from a nice charity dinner, the D&D had evolved into a jamming session! I guess people were too much into their own world. Still, I had fun! Great job, KX and Mary!

After the D&D HH and I went to AMK Hub for a midnight show of Kungfu Panda! It was a great show, with all those entertaining stunts and dialogues. And while having the free time before the movie, we camped at this amazing board games cafe! <3

^ Look at the seat~ It swings like a bowl, feels like sitting in a bowl.

^ A perfect model to demonstrate how comfortable the bowl is. XD

^ Maple syrup waffles topped with three scoops of vanilla, choco chip, and cookies 'n' cream ice cream! Too bad we were not the customers who actually have more than five scoops of ice cream on their waffles. Awwwww. What a waste.

^ So cool! Spongebob Squarepants monopoly~! <3 style="font-style: italic;">

BWAHAHAHA! I would love to visit that cafe again. Not only for their waffles, but their ambiance and services as well.

Sunday

I had a morning shift at Scotts and a couple of Arts on the move events to cover that night at Clarke Quay. Talk about fun~

Nice dress~
^ A dress I tried on while waiting for the events to start. It appearred nice, doesn't fit well though. :(

Watched the very powerful and energetic "One Table, Three Chairs" as well as "La Guardia Flamenca". Met a lot of MCM-ers there too. I suppose that was why we could not get much work done for our News Writing that day. *sighs*

So that was how a weekend breezed by? Whoa. At least I had fun, relieved some stress, did some work, earned some money. Yay~ ^^
